Mary Wisdom Luterek

I have Multiple Myeloma cancer. I am currently recovering from a stem cell transplant. Slowly, my hair is returning!!! My immune system is making a come back. I feel great most days.
I have taught Family & Consumer Sc ience at Waterloo East High for 34 years. Our son is an engineering student at IA State. My husband is completing his 30th year as an engineering manager at Deere.
We enjoy traveling. The boys like anything to do with cars, so we make it to a few road races each year and other miscellaneous car shows. My mom still lives in Indianola, so I get back there fairly often. It's still a very nice small town!

I have a lot of great memories of HS, most of them are due to my classmates. I loved the pep club bus rides, & the dances.
