Comments:

Been married to my husband since graduation and still very much in love
Since retirement in 2012 we have sold our acreage, bought a 5th wheel and are avoiding cold winters in Iowa.
Our 1st year out we put over 10000 miles in the log book and this year we plan to slow it down less miles but see more.
We summer in Iowa and just take a few short trips visiting Iowa family and seeing Iowa sites we have ignored over the years! Did you know LaMars is the ICE CREAM CAPITOL OF THE WORLD!!

We spent the winter of 2014-2015 in Gulf Shores, Al. Such a beautiful spot. We plan on coming back here next year as well. After the beautiful weather here it is getting harder to think about going back to Iowa. That is where our family is so guess we will.

We bought a fixer upper in Decatur County Ia this spring when they shut the campgrounds down. At least now we hve a place to stay when in Iowa.

While hiking west of Soccoro New Mexico in January 2009, I found this 1500-2000 year old Indian basket containing salt. I later went back with Federal agents and Archeologist and recovered it and it is currently at the New Mexico Natural History Museum being studied.
