Our classmate Kayla (Gibson) Silk-Boyd passed away March 18, 2020 after a 5-year battle with Multiple System Atrophy: a fatal, non-curable, rare brain disease similar to a combination of Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig's and Alzheimer's. Her husband, Russ has asked no cards or calls go to Kayla's elderly mother as she has not been told due to her own bad health. I'm including information below for a GoFundMe page to help the family with medical costs, if you are in a position to help. Many of us got to see and talk with Kayla at our 50th Class Reunion in 2018 and for that we are thankful. Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
